    If I remember right a winch should be able to pull 3x the weight of the vehicle its fitted to, so if a Disco is about 2.25 tons it ought to be good for say 7tons, if you apply the same thinking to roaps and straps any of those should be good. Kev

    Yes I know, I also thought about buying the pro version but I do work on other makes as well and the Solus is a pretty good all rounder.

    Thanks they all seem to be about that money, I chose the Hawkeye in the end, Gonna get stuck in with it tomorrow and see if I can fix some Amigos. If I can get one at the right money I might get a Snap On Solus Pro too, I think thats ok for D1's Thanks for all your help and advice

    Thanks Dizzytim, I have fitted new wheel bearings last week on that side and even tried fitting the sensor to the holder/swivel before fitting that to the hub just to be mega sure it was poking through far enough.

    Here's a puzzle N reg 300tdi with the abs light on, plugged into diagnostics and after all the old codes were cleared it said front right wheel sensor open circuit, so it got a new sensor, the light still comes on :( but now says front right wheel sensor air gap, I've re set this and had a good...

    Red or blue depending how long you want to wait before changing it again, Red=5years and Blue=3years (I think) it will tell you on the bottle

    I'd remove the negative first and fit the positive first, I've always thought there's less sparking that way.
