    Series 3 MOT Exempt ?

If you’re worried you can still have it Mot’d so I don’t see a problem. As for me I see it as the fact that I will save £50 a year on an MOT test oh and a lot more on tax. Result. Norrie.

    Cable specification.

I actually ordered 1mm but it looks really thin but as you say modern cable is much thinner. It's 16 amp cable so should be fine as the maximum it will pull is for the brake light which is 21w so under 2 amps. Even with the towing plug connected it will be fine. It just looks so thin. lol. Windscreen fitment

I thought it was just held in with sealant. There was no rubber seal when I removed the glass. Norrie.

Hi there, Does anyone know the correct spec for the lighting wiring in a Series 3 Landy? Does 2mm sound about right? Thanks. Norrie.

    Windscreen fitment

Ok after having my windscreen frame galvinized I need to refit the glass. Is the glass just sealed with sealant and then held in with the aluminium trim? I'm thinking Tiger seal. Thanks . Norrie.

    vent seals

Series 2 How to courier a S2a overdrive

If you stick it on a pallet you can get a price for pallet courier and it's not too bad. Why not say courier collection is fine if they arrange the courier. Just as a side note will it fit a Series 3 and if so how much do you want for it? Norrie .

That’s looking like a good usable Landy there. Now it’s on the road you can do all the other bits as you use it.

Mini restoration of my 75 Series 3

well I've been prepping the front wings for paint today. I've split the outer wings away from the inner wings. I got 2 used wings which were better nick that the ones that were on mine. However after rubbing one down it was full of filler on the top so I am using one of my original inner wings...

    Front apron and bumper fitment.

Ok cool. Thanks. I will have another look at it. I think because it’s had so much welding etc nothing quite fits as it should. I’ve already ground bits off the bumper so it fits on the chassis. Lol. Norrie.

    Front apron and bumper fitment.

Yeah I have the brackets that mount to the rad panel but unsure about the front edge. There is 2 holes in it so I assume it's for self tappers. It's just with the bunowr in place there didn't seem to be enough room for the apron to sit flat. The apron was missing when I got the car and my rad...

Cool. Glad you got it sorted in the end. At least parts are cheap. If that was a modern car it would have cost about 2 grand.
