Had a similar journey to the MOT place on Monday! Combination of not fully insured etc as not MOT and it being the first drive since I've dismantled it and put it back together. No dual carriageways, thank god. :D

The the arctic lorries in particular seemed to enjoy flying past hogging the white line and putting the fear of god into me!

That’s looking like a good usable Landy there. Now it’s on the road you can do all the other bits as you use it.

I found its really important to have a cruising speed on the motorway that's just faster than the HGVs. 59 - 60 mph seems to be enough but I've noticed some of the Eastern European trucks must be tampered with. I think getting 2mph slower to 2 mph faster than the HGVs probably justfied the cost of the overdrive just in reduced anxiety alone.

Landy looks nice by the way.

She is marking her territory!
