    Update ..... my fob buttons were working intermittently , tried to solder and repair but too difficult . Eventually rewired bypassed and now have a reliable disco. no spider, alarm etc and still have central locking working. I am delighted . Thanks

    Hi Flat , Wheel bearing needs replacing . Tried the welding cant get enough leverage to open even using 2LB lump hammer. Too little space in there to operate , will have to do partial corner strip down to make space.Ordered new bolts anyway.Looks like someone used an air tool to lock them up...

    Thanks Flossie I have one of these 1/2 AF and tried to use it , but some sod was there before me and knackered the heads, some of them are pure round . Brake pads are almost new so rust may not be too big a problem..

    Problem sorted I think ! Removed battery from fob went to buy a new battery , the store didnt have one put back in old battery after an hour and the system is working perfect again ,. A mystery to me !

    Got a set of bfgoodrich tyres and much improved braking now on wet roads.....A good investment. The rear pistons are free , but I noticed the discs are little rusted and pitted , I will replace. Thanks guys for suggestions.
