key fob wont unlock

My 300tdi disco on 96 manual. The 2 button fob always worked lock and unlock from a distance. Now it got right up to it.so changed the battery in fob.worked fine.now it wont unlock. Press open nothing press lock itl lock.

Open with the key and the alarm will go off so i bave shut it then lock and unlock will work on fob. Then it wont work again.

Is there any way of ripping out the immobiliser system.or bupassing it. Any help greatly apprecited
