No i meant fitting the side lights alongside the fogs so they both still work

Any of you td5 owners rigged up a side light to work in the fog light lens on the bumper i quite fancy having four rear side lights like my 300 tdi ?

Thats strange, you have to wet a rusty part then seal it in with the spray ? surely that traps the water in ?

I think the autos are easier to install and obviously no clutch to worry about, also you can use an auto like a manual if you want to so why not have both.

If you have the switches fitted they should work, read your owners manual to see how things should work.

The light on the dash may not work but when driving if the sport button is pressed the gearbox should hold the gears a bit longer than in normal mode, so thats an easy way to see if its working
