For my '97 Disco all you need to do to save alarm/radio function is to switch on the ignition, then switch off, then disconnect the battery terminals within 15 seconds..... Is this not the same with all Discos?

OK Grunt, and? The Guy at "JP Land" here in France suggested the above, and the old transfer box that came off seems to have a lock-nut-type of electrical connection? I guess I should phone Ashcrofts where I sourced them from....

Sorry, I should have written oil thermostat..... though it also needs a new cooling system thermostat to fix the heater problem. I guess it's going to be a faulty switch as it will goes on/off at all times regardless of how long it's been running - it's never consistent. Thanks

Sorry guys, can you help? I have a Disco '97 three door. The driver's seat is kaput, but the base and tilt mechanism are fine. Is/are there any seats from other vehicles that will fit the runners or is it the usual land rover botch job?
