I'm not deep wading prepped, will also have me nipper with me.
wheel depth is about the max i'll be going to, if looks/is deeper, i'll be driving round.

what they made of?

Reinforced fiberglass with Kevlar in normal use is for 8 ton vehicle so should not break but hay if they do I can get more

whats "normal" use?
boggy ground where the entire surface area is in contact or bridging, where a portion of the ends are in surface contact, or climbing, where contact can be right at the end? (this scenario I would be inclined (no pun intended!) to support the mid section to prevent bending)

Bending is not an issue as I don't know of a land rover heavy enough
Normal use is to help jcb earth mover to climb over obsticals in my industry without damaging any of our kit
Normal size of the sheet is 2 m squ I just cut them down to size
I have used mine many times in Wales and not broken them as yet
Support ? Well yes if you want to brace the Center of the board that's a good idea
