In the Freelander section we have a similar fred to this asking owners:
"What have you done to your Freelander today?"

Owners post replies telling us what they've done to their Series 1 and Series 2 Freelanders.

So I thought I'd start a fred off in ere asking tratter owners the same question:

What have you done to your tratter today? Fixed it, broken it, washed it, polished it...

You can post pictures of yer tratters anorl. Picture posting help over ere if yer need it: http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f38/picture-posting-dummies-47795.html

Looked at making up some silicon hoses

I cursed my series 1. Fix one problem and another pops up. Typical Freelander. :(

I have mostly been trying to find parts - did split the inlet and exhaust manifolds to replace naff studs which was fun :)

All I managed was clearing the garage to let me get into it! Had another go at getting the fuel tanks off. Still can't shift one of the rear bolts, I can't get to it. Any suggestions!

Added 1 1/2 pints of oil to the main gearbox; took 1/2 pint out of the transfer box. What a waste... ah I know! Mixed with diesel and painted the road springs and any rusty bits I could reach. The road is lovely and waterproof now, and I just hope some stays stuck to the chassis.
I thought gearbox oil would contain less nasty stuff than used engine oil. I have used a lot of waxoyl over the years, but it does seem to wash off.

Oi fook off back to the puffs section... we are connoisseurs of fine classic motoros in here, not dirty tratter drivers like the 'fender bunch

(and, replaced the rear lights with LED units, ran in a new 50mm cable for the winch from an in-cab isolation switch and ran in a new 70mm feed from the battery to the new distro box i'm building up. both protected by 175A mega fuses :) )

Changed the Transmission fluid, topped off the transfer case, added fluiding to the front diff and both swivels, re-sealed the windshield.
