Just a little more stabbing revealed the extent of the hole in mine, not to bothered as the surrounding material is thick enough for a patch to be welded on!

Had a really good day :D Managed to remove the middle seat (helps if you have the right tools and know what they are for )

Wire brushed and painted the cross member and towbar with black hamerite.

Cut a bit of spare carpet for the back, only temporary as I know it will get damp.

Didn't get round to finishing the radio though :(

Back to work tomorrow

Good evening on the landy after work..... the waxoyl has set enough to start assembling the front suspension..... what a cow of a job single handed though......

3" HD springs , 3" billet alloy machined lifting blocks, QT 6 degree castor corrected arms, DeCarbon performance shocks +2", -2" turrets and yellow Polybushes to match (sad I know lol)

chassis has been drilled on top every 8-10" so i could waxoyl the inside to death and all holes sealed with 10mm dinitrol plugs afterwards so should be easy to access n redo in future.......

just need to decide on an engine type so i can fit some mounts????

solved some problems and found some problems.

waxoiled my doors and sprayed more into the chassis as it had been in the workshop drying all weekend.

fitted new glow plug relay, 26 pound from ebay. new original boxed well chuffed:D.

found 2 headbolts loose, have a new rattle at tick over, and found more oil in my intercooler pipes. only changed them last week, now if the posty hurrys up wea my new intercooler!

ordered new lift pump....fecking money pit but love it!

Seeing as one mate had an attempted theft and one had 2 nicked in the last week or so, decided it was time to beef up security.
now has a few more bits to switch on before it will go anywhere, including a couple of key switches I had laying around, and a great feck orf pedal lock thats just arrived.

now considering a beefy wheel clamp, and just pricing up a drop down bollard for the drive, and what that will entail to install it.

I hope to put a bollard on my drive at some point... just make sure its strong enough to stop a landy!
