Had a really good day Managed to remove the middle seat (helps if you have the right tools and know what they are for )
Wire brushed and painted the cross member and towbar with black hamerite.
Cut a bit of spare carpet for the back, only temporary as I know it will get damp.
Didn't get round to finishing the radio though
Back to work tomorrow
told ya dint eye.
Yes, thank you
Now got to try to get the black stains off my hands Not sure if its oil or hamerite but white spirit and kitchen cleaner have failed to shift it all so far.
Just back from the garage- new drop arm and front UJ - £165 and now it's in another garage to get the wheels balanced to see if that cures the wobble
not tooooo bad then 110 was it.
Seeing as one mate had an attempted theft and one had 2 nicked in the last week or so, decided it was time to beef up security.
now has a few more bits to switch on before it will go anywhere, including a couple of key switches I had laying around, and a great feck orf pedal lock thats just arrived.
now considering a beefy wheel clamp, and just pricing up a drop down bollard for the drive, and what that will entail to install it.
