Thanks for that Johnny, wish I'd thought of that this morning when I was in Edinburgh, 50 miles away,I even drove past Machine Mart but Halfords may have them.

b&q are better priced than halfords youll find them next to the grinder wheels and sander discs in the tools section :D

I've read about plenty of people doing this mod and not having an issue with the MOT. I asked my local garage, and they said that THEY wouldn't have an issue with it, which was good enough for me.

The only reason i asked whether it was legal, cause once i made a side exit for this womans transporter.
A few weeks later she came back and complained that it wasn't legal, cause it exited out the O/s the same as the kerb, but this was a german left hand drive, so it must be an issue in Germany but not Britain it seems!

My previous Series II had a straight through exhaust the same size as the PTO hole on the rear crossmember which it exited from, it was pretty cool!
However i ended up having two side exits because i made much better power with the V8!

Tightened up one of the injector lines on my 200tdi Defender, so that explains why it was gutless :D

Have just replaced master cylinder and all the wheel cylinders and rear brake lines and a spot of bleeding (not just the knuckles). It was missing both rear bleed nipples, just corroded stubs, have no idea how it stopped and how it never used fluid!

Fitted a leather racing wheel! :D

Well you just lowered the value.

No! I just got more room to turn the wheel without having to open the window, nicer feel than the original vinyl wheel and a sporty look!

Anything i do to my landrover will increase its value considering it was going to be scrapped! I think i done well buying a 110 for £400 notes tbh!

Done some grinding and cleaning of the rear of the chassis, horrid job but it will be worth it when its all painted. The custom steering wheel was fitted by the previous owner. I will leave it on as it will give me more elbow room.
