made a panel to replace the rear window in my s3 hopefully it will stop some of the rain blowing down my neck but i doubt she will ever be wind and water tight
 
finally go around to fitting a thermal fan to replace the viscous fan on my 200tdi conversion,I found a large fan on a fiat scudo van in a local breakers and managed to fit it inside the original disco rad fan housing and I think it looks quite tidy so just got to fit temp switch and its all done.

Fitted new front brake pads and took it along to the MOT... came back an hour later to be presented with a fail list as long as my arm.

Need to do both track rod ends, both tie rod ends, seatbelts, rear fog lamp etc etc etc :mad:
 
fitted my bumper end cap and started weldin the little hole in the chassis...

turned into a big hole in the chassis... 3 hours later... 90% done and ran out of wire!!!

no where open... nothin to do but put everythin away and start again tomorrow... after i got some more wire...

oh and put some new rear arb link bushes in... not much left of old ones...

gotta try everythin..... mot friday!!!!
 
i'm looking to make one like this ,do you know what the o/d of the tube used is bear?


three different sizes i will measure tonight and let you no.

the main cross bar is obviously the largest, then the Abar is smaller and the two angled supports smaller again.
 
drove the 110 back from bristle airport glad ta be home and driving me landie again , dont want ta see a fookin coach for a while and any luck wont have to ride in 1 for at least another 12 month :mad:
