Love the Scim. Been considering getting one for a while to add to the collection. Drawn to the more 'left field type' classic cars, they have a certain style.
Ive pressure washed the underside of mine after a play in a local quarry .
what jobs have you done on yours ?
Trying to fit the Puma style fibre glass bonnet which has caused a few issues. The first problem was that the catch striker bolt which is bedded into the front of the bonnet, which was clogged with fibreglass resin. Finding the correct tap to clear out the crap was difficult.
The next part of the problem, was to get the striker catch to locate. It turned out that the fibreglass bonnet was broken which wouldn't allow the connection to be made.
I'm currently talking to the supplier who has been very good, but I don't relish the idea of getting a replacement. I live in Ireland and the supplier is in the UK. I have also had the bonnet painted and sound proofed, so would like to keep and repair the existing bonnet
If it is Fibreglass and in an hidden area, then a fibreglass repair should be very simple, Hopefully you get it resolved fairly easily Alan.
The problem is, for a replacement, do you know where the damage happened? shipping, painting, etc?
Good luck
Cheers
