Fitted an X-eng fan stat, got my Mondeo fan ready to fit tomorrow.
New digi water temp gauge & sender fitted :)
new drivers seat belt fitted- old one caught in door too many times to pass MOT next month :)

This week... lost 2 inches from the rear of my 110. Replaced what I now realise was tired HD rear springs and original standard front springs and original, badly shot and useless original shocks with genuine LR standard springs and Monroe Adventurer Shocks.
Massive difference... handles very well, no scary lean on corners. New Super Gaz Britpart steering damper fitted. Took me a couple of days, no rush. Best money I have spent..... and I didn't snap a turret ring!

Replaced the fuel hoses this morning in my on-going battle to sort out an intermittent loss of power. Had a good look in the tank - no muck or dirt in there at all, very clean in fact. I'm not convinced the hoses will sort it - the originals look fine. But I'm rapidly running out if ideas!

I've just failed to take the drivers side front hub off (I wanted to replace the crome ball its badly pitted) the hub nut wont budge, I have the propper box spanner but it was put on with a hammer and chisel last time. I have just put it all back together fcuk it.

put my seat box back in after giving it a full refurb, new side panels and battery box, then a full paint on both sides...Tomorrow im hoping to get the windscreen and roof back on )

Loosened my rock sliders and installed rubber between the steel and aluminum, hopefully slow down the corrosion.

Also removed the tow hitch, was making too much noise on the bumpy Bahamian roads.
Put it back on if I need to tow something.......................

Fitters turbo gauge, battery meter and mini mud console. Installed seat box to bulkhead tunnel and all floor panels after painting them this morning. Put some seats in, refurbed seat box lids, welded some washers on seat frame as tab had corroded off, loosened seat runners, rtv silicon sealed inside if air filter housing, bunged up water drain and sealed rest of air intake so that my snorkel is the only point of air entry, tidied up some cabling in engine bay with cloth wrap tape.
Now ready for a beer :)

Fitted 50% of my rock sliders today, and blow me don't they look pretty. Also finished putting my steering guard on. Found some pretty impressive areas of rot on my chassis, so looks like I'm going to be breaking hot the welder. Doh!!

Tried to replace fuel filter, broke strap wrench trying to get the bloody thing off. Buying chain version after work today to take another shot.

Replaced air filter.

Took off the runner boards in prep for buying rock sliders. These were a bastard to remove.

Changed the oil in the front diff, is the old oil supposed to look like mud when it comes out?

Postponed changing rear diff oil as I only had 2L and used it on the front.

Postponed changing main gearbox oil as I realized I need a torx 55 socket.

Greased every nipple I could find (on the truck).

cut hols in the rear xmbr as rust has got to it where it meets the chassis so when i pressure wash the chassis all the mud comes out then ill put some rust eater inside the chassis

New back box just gone on the 110... just bought a set of genuine LR Tomb Raider side runners off the RJ landrover website, new take offs. My side steps to bad to refurbish and would have cost £80 for the rubber plates and 2 days to sort. I got a bargain as the new price is over £600 + vat.... I got them for £150 plus vat :) Well worth a look on the website.... may get a set of genuine door hinges £20 for 4!!!! they are over £30 EACH from a dealer.
