Disco 2 What would you buy if you couldn't buy another Disco2 or any other LR?

Looking for alternatives to Disco 2, from other brands.

So far X5 and ML come up but are hardly as capable at towing and off road. But since I almost never go off road other than to tow a trailer across a flat field or launch a boat on a slightly green concrete slipway, I may consider those. I did discover the VW Touareg has some very good off road and towing abilities, but I can't bloody stand VW dash, interior, or for that matter, exterior! But I could force myself and I am sure it will be far 'nicer' to drive.

Just wondered if anyone knows of others I should consider.

How long is a piece of string?

You’re looking for an alternative to a disco, but you rarely tow and rarely go off-road? So you could, in fact, have any car you like or can afford.

Wrangler.

Mates got one and its brilliant.

Lockers and ARB disconnects as standard on a switch.

Fit 35s from stock

Comfy, quiet, even has a 230v inverter built in.

But 45k....

Then again how much have I spent on Land Rovers

So off road capable 4x4, seven seats and large carrying capacity, so a large and difficult to park vehicle most manufacturers have something like that.
Jaguar have been doing deals as their F Pace is discontinued and there will be a new electric range, also discounts on the E pace and F Type, for something faster than a D2 its what ‘suits you sir’.

Perhaps you would like a disco sport, but no decent discounts from LR on their products
