Well I'm home with it!! ;)

First impressions are ok.

Chassis has some scale on it, but otherwise solid ;)

The sunroof has been sealed and being the numpty I am i tried to open it, and broke the silly cone ;) so i'll have to seal that up, probably ;)

Engine and gearbox are smooth.

Bodywork is ok apart from a mark on the rear door and a broken sidestep ;)

181k so not expecting a minter here;)

Seating position is comfy however legroom could be more generous they certainly didn't have a 6ft+ person in mind ;)

rolling restoration is my game.

So there, the cold light of day is cruel.

Cough Cough.. ;)

Pics to come if i can extract them off my phone ;)

They meet each other for the first time ;)

The silver one is too ;)

Very nice drive the D2 ;)

Really chuffed for u mate and look forward to a members thread

Just wait till u test drive a D3 ;), tested a good few landies before buying the D3 and there was nothing apart from the L322 having the same quality of ride and comfort ( being truthful the L322 did have the edge on the D3 mind )

Enjoy the new motor :)

Thanks Gary ;)

I kind of like the "vintage" square stance of the D2 ;)

The D3 will be a future vehicle for sure, but the D2 is sure addictive ;)

Love 'em ;)
