It’s not the getting wheel off it’s putting it back on that I find the heavy bit.

I made a couple of these for the P38 to aid M if she ever had too and I will probably use them to.

Couple of old wheel nuts a piece of pipe a lathe and a MiG and an afternoon in the man cave :)

You can actually buy for the P38 but where’s the fun in that. Got to make up a couple for the L322 next.
Wouldn’t be surprised if something similar not available for the disco,

J

Yep oil is cheaper than a gearbox or an engine ;)

I'd take your good time with those wheels they weigh a fair bit and you don't wanna pull ya back out again! ;)

Same for the gearbox do it slowly, no need to rush ;)

Thks so much , indeed ur right ref cost of engine and gearbox

Last time I went to do the ATF oil I was carried away on a stretcher , as I twisted and back totally went , oh the embarrassment

Indeed ref the wheels , think actually u can get a locator pin, also wondering if I can find some 4x2 inch wood so can use a fulcrum/ lever to get them back on , placing the wood on the floor and long length of timber under the tyre

This drives me insane as I never useto have to worry like this , bugger

As we all get older we realise **** is heavy and the need to work smart.

You can basically locate the wheel on the long 1 while it’s on the ground, so then only have to lift/lever the wheel up to get on the short 1.

I assume your talking about the light. It was a Lidil special wish I had got 2 now, works great over the bench. But as always none left next time we went in :(

After a while of lifting them up chest level on ramps you soon get used to it ;)

'Tis why mechanics don't need to go to the Gym ;) lolz

That and leaning over bonnets all day, when you get older you will feel it.

I have always had a physical type job and used to say to the guys if you have the energy/need to go to the gym you have not been working hard enough:D

Aye being the physical farmer type, pushing old tractors and cars all the time.

I could probably outwork most Gym bods ;)

I don't have fake muscles ;) :p:D
