Was simply a stab at humour as its always colder here, forget it! ;)

Yip - IID shows a fault with both which can't be cleared when they are blanked. Was done before I bought it.

thks, sounds like u need the iid patch done then , thought that was just for eu4 engines and post 2008 that needed the patch

been recommended when mine are done to leave the pipes in situ so that when it's in for a mot they can't tell if they've been blanked or not,

How many cups of T did you make?

i did actually , thought it was the least i could do in making the tea,

also gave them a tip to have a few pints on me, seeing they done such a cracking job,

think it always goes along way

Bit of a long shot. But I don't suppose any of you guys are in the Norfolk area this weekend are you? My D3 is cocking a leg after I replaced the rear upper suspension bush. I moved the height sensor whilst fitting new the new arm!! Does anyone have an IID tool who knows how to recalibrate the suspension heights? Beer tokens available...

Thanks

guy selling some short roof rails dropped some off today , as he didn't want them any more

about time i lucked out, as he only wanted £20 for them

need a bit of a clean and tidy up ,

will be perfect to mount a cb aerial onto them

see u can even get the rubber grommets seperate that end up brittle

are the same rubber grommets used on the D2

hi mate

did u put a jack under the suspension and set the height correctly , otherwise it will destroy ur new bushes

assume u changed both sides

alas the iid tool won't reset another suspension on another vehicle , costs £60 to get another vin unlocked

would be worth getting an iid tool, will pay for itself in know time at all

would be very happy to plug my iid tool in for u FOC , but won't adjust the suspension i'm afraid

as it's locked to my vin, however it will read and clear faults

how are u getting on

Jammy bu66er. I paid £80 for mine.
Just been out and fitted my genuine roof bars that I picked up, I've added old ski brackets to it as they hold my ladder lovely. (Coz its stopped raining)

No doubt postage will be £5 or £6 though!

@Littelwill

found this excerpt for u , from someone else who has replaced the rear upper wishbones

Use a jack under the shock absorber and jack the assy up so that a distance of 485 mm between the center of the drive shaft and underside of the wheel arch is obtained. As the body in my case still was slightly raised I measured that the spacer was 50 mm thick and the body was 55 mm over the chassis mount. So in my case I adjusted the distance to be 490 mm to accomodate the extra 5 mm. I expect this might not to be super critical as the procedure merely is to remove stress from the bushes and thus premature failure by fastening the bolts with both arms in normal operation height/position.

no he dropped them off in person this morning

they need a little rub down and a quick spray , but to be honest won't see them anyway so not to bothered with a few marks here and there

as i've got to remove the end caps to fit a cb aerial bracket i've just soaked the bolts in plus gas , will leave it to soak in for a few days

got some new stainless steel bolts and washers to replace the old bolts
