Just bought a new driver door latch, hopefully i'll get her running in the next few weeks
What have you been told about leaving car stuff on the dining room table...!!Sourced myself a new compressor to replace the standard one. It's ever so slightly beefier than stock. Not sure how / where I'm going to mount it yet mind.....
that's me, I'm not on my own then. When i had issues with the old RF unit my neighbour caught me looking in the window at 11 oclock at night to see if the red light went out on the gearbox, what is it about these cars ?
@TallPaulB
I would have to ask why?
Sorry but you probably spent more or are about to. Than sorting the original which is more than capable(in good condition)
“Beefier “ is it?
J
The original one is fine, and I have 2 spares which work (if you short out the thermal switch....)
This is another of my 'well, why not?' projects and when I'm done I'll probably be able to run air tools off my car since this compressor is rated to run continuously without any problems.
What is that monster! That's not going in the EAS box, will probably need It's own tow hitchSourced myself a new compressor to replace the standard one. It's ever so slightly beefier than stock. Not sure how / where I'm going to mount it yet mind.....
@Henry_b not running now then, hence the pushing up hill?
My lower rear hatch motor whines and only one latch opens/closes. No probs blowing anything or dash alerts.

Always thought it was your OCD kept you from running the mileage up on it
What's stopping it running??
Doesn't run it to keep the mileage low, for when it's a high end classicputting miles on it ?

i'll be driving mine in reverse for a couple of years !
No issues there. Most 4.6s do the majority of their miles on top of a relay truck.
@martyuk has 2 on his. Has an airline out the back. Think he put photos up on here somewhere. Think he might have 2 batteries too. Should be right up your street!
And eat your crusts!!What have you been told about leaving car stuff on the dining room table...!!
When it's runningpffffft !
at least a v8 doesn't sound like a recovery truck
