Ah, mon Dieu, had to get rid of the precious caravan. Didn't go down with the kids well. They wanted to blow it up, proper Top Gear style :D

Finally got round to fitting the sprayed wood strips :D between rain showers. No more wood!!:D

I like it, freshens up the door cards and dash :cool2:

Thanks to all. It does make the inside a nicer place to sit. before it was just a sea of black with a bit of brown!! :( The missus likes it too which is always a bonus!!:D
Next project is to sort out the heating and cooling  blend motors are fecked!! Picked up some used but working (alledgedly) ones yesterday, along with a complete heater unit for £30.:)

Replaced the front brake pads.

Took nearly 2 hours!

1-Wheels stuck to hub-took ages to free them with my long piece of 3*2.
Cleaned the rim and copper greased before putting back on.

2-Caliper nuts very rusty-cleaned them up with wire brush and file eventually got them out.

3-When pushing one piston in the other came out-used the old brake pad across the two pistons and squeezed with my huge pipe wrench.

Eventually finished the brakes and then decided to fix the blow on the exhaust where the centre box meets the back boxes.

Replaced the back boxes a while back and should have changed the middle at the same time. I may change it as it's only £50 but am currently looking for a L322 Supercharged :D.

Steve.

Located and sorted source of my suspension air leak. First time in my ownership she hasn't sunk to the bump stops overnight! Valve block seal kit ordered to try and sort my other eas issues...

Adjusted the feck out of the handbrake in hopes it'll pass the MOT later!!

L322 handbrakes are notoriously crap!!

Edited for accuracy:D

Woohoo, legal for another year....no advisories...big grins.

(Before some jobsworth comes along and is being pedantic....yes I do know an MoT is only valid at the time of issue and I am legally responsible to ensure it remains legal until the next MoT....:D)

got an insurance quote for the same price as my freelander
£60 more in road tax though :(
same to the gallon with lpg :)

soundtrack is nice too :D

Put a new alternator belt on as the old one looked iffy, was well past iffy when I took the old one off had a split right through the inside edge  Nice easy 5 minute job tho.

Changing the idler pulley is a good idea too. Got rid of my chirping noise especially on tick over.
