Very nice i do hope there is a bbq and some beer involved as that would make it perfectView attachment 295777View attachment 295778first port of call for this evening
I checked it this morning and it was well down and it has leaked some acid out and only just started the motor, so a new yuasa from halfords the largest they had only 830cca but five year waranty has been fitted and the other one will be sent back, spoke to them and the tech guy said it was definitly bad.Alternators are not good at charging batteries that are flat, 3 hours is nothing on a 120AH battery. It took 48 hours on a 4 amp smart charger to fully charge an MF31-1000 before I fitted it.
Good job it's a lake or the tide might come inView attachment 295777View attachment 295778first port of call for this evening

One day it will catch you out, if it's just clicks, likely the ignition switch is on it's way out.Had its starting quirk.
Went to start this morning, click, click, click, then starter came to life and fired over perfectly,
Its been fine all day since then and it'll be fine for 4-5 weeks on end then it'll do this 1 day then itl be fine for another 4-5 weeks
Its not like it slow cranks or just catches either il look into it one day
One day, i did buy a starter the first time it did it,One day it will catch you out, if it's just clicks, likely the ignition switch is on it's way out.
So 3 weeks ago i had to put my spare on noticed a few cracks in the inner sidewall but nothing too bad,

There seems to be a turn down in rubber quality for a lot of Tyre companies in the last 6 years or so. We had four brand new hankooks fitted to my wife's c4 shïtroen last year, the two front tyres cracked after 4 months on the side walls!!! They only ran 2.1 bar and she drove like miss daisy. Needless to say they were replaced under guarantee. A lot of tyres on cars that come through the garage are cracking prematurely and way before any acceptable time limit...So 3 weeks ago i had to put my spare on noticed a few cracks in the inner sidewall but nothing too bad,

Anything to increase profit & sales. When I bought the Jag it had Kumho on it. The driver's side front (OSF) blew at 90 miles per hour on the motorway. It was 1 month out of date (I think tyres are guaranteed for 3 years these days?). All cracked on the inside where it is protected from sunlight, like the above. So I think it is being done quite deliberately.
