Looks similar to the P38 but a lot more accessible. An easy fix I hope?
Easy to get to, just put the bonnet in service height and it's there. Just gonna 3D print something to hold it in place for now.Looks similar to the P38 but a lot more accessible. An easy fix I hope?
I was lucky with the P38, I had spare bits on my scrapper.Easy to get to, just put the bonnet in service height and it's there. Just gonna 3D print something to hold it in place for now.
If only I had oneI was lucky with the P38, I had spare bits on my scrapper.
Like the guy who put in my hardstanding for the garage in Kent. He'd had 2 pickup trucks stolen in 6 months, so he got a ratty old VW Golf TD estate with a tow hitch. He could sling all his ground working tools in the back, and it was man enough to haul a 1/4 ton 360 machine or a couple of yards of concrete mix in his trailer.Really? Know a p38 is smaller but would have thought 3m from boot lid to front footwell or dash would have got it. I get 3m conduit from rear upper corner down to front passenger footwell.
Tools can take up a lot, my day to day is tester, small bag for every job tools, snips, drivers, volt tester etc then smaller tool
Box for common but not needed tools like lump hammer, 12inch level etc then drill and impact box and screw and fixings box then two more 18” cubed boxes for everyday parts, cable, sockets etc. if I’m doing a rewire I can easily fill car but all unloaded on day 1 and loaded back up when completing job so not too bad.
Problem round my way is vans are a major break in target, and no matter what locks are on it they just rip doors off, using a car doesn’t stand out the same.
Yep - was standing water on the M56 on my way home this afternoon. And pretty splashy down the Alderley bypass too.Guess what broke today on the rainiest day of the week and 35 miles from home
Thank god for Halfrauds and Rainx

That where I was on the Alderley bypass heading for the M60, had to stop off at Halfrauds on the A34 for the Rainx.Yep - was standing water on the M56 on my way home this afternoon. And pretty splashy down the Alderley bypass too.
Looking around I see a lot of trades are going back to the old faithful estate car.Like the guy who put in my hardstanding for the garage in Kent. Well tis a Range Rover after allGuess what broke today on the rainiest day of the week and 35 miles from home
