No need to spend a lot on a DVM, a serviceable one can be had for less than £20.Good news! I found out why my battery died as quickly as it did. I left the vehicle lights on.
Bad news. Turns out without a working drivers door you really can't enter the EKA. It just trips the alarm.
Good news. The battery took charge like a champion and looks perfectly fine, even after being murdered by my stupidity.
Lesson from this debacle? Invest in a good DVM you can get reliable readings from. Be a whole lot easier to fix my door with one. Instead now I have a really expensive lawn ornaments.
