But...it may blind the front seat passenger!I replaced the bulb in the clock with an ultra bright red LED, it will not fail again in my lifetime
Dont know if that's a +ve...or a - ve thing Keith... Hahaha ¦~}Trans
I changed my binnacle lights to blue. One goes on the "blink" frequently, but I can't be arsed to change it until after imminent back op. Pre-op appointment confirmed on March 1st now. It can't come quickly enough! The puddle lights are, or used to be, on Ebay. Not interested in changing the interior lights, but I may change the dash illumination to red LED's if I ever have to remove the binnacle, red is better for night vision. Works well for the clock.
Not that bright as a series resistor has to be fitted so I selected the value to give a level on a par with the old bulb.But...it may blind the front seat passenger!
Good luck with the op.I changed my binnacle lights to blue. One goes on the "blink" frequently, but I can't be arsed to change it until after imminent back op. Pre-op appointment confirmed on March 1st now. It can't come quickly enough!
Hadn't noticed it was your post Keith. Had I done so, I'd have known you'd have covered that aspect! Not that bright as a series resistor has to be fitted so I selected the value to give a level on a par with the old bulb.
Cheers Keith. My girlfriend was rather surprised that I'm mustard keen to get it done. She should know by now that I'm wired up wrong!Good luck with the op.
I'm also wired up wrong as you put itCheers Keith. My girlfriend was rather surprised that I'm mustard keen to get it done. She should know by now that I'm wired up wrong!

Google lied to me, correct, non for the far superior 38.I never saw any that were specifically for the P38
Don't worry matey i have seen loads of P38's with them in during my search albeit they are a rare option. They are basically the same as what we have fitted to the rears of the passenger seats in the coaches i used to drive and our fitters were always fixing them because the little **** kids would yank on them or cut them with scizzors the little c**ts. LOLIm not fibbing. Elastic has gone weak, won't support the Handbook for example. Headliner will be coming out in the summer for a recover so I'll look at them properly then, either remove them or see if they can be tightened up elastically.View attachment 259170
Like my missus tits. They are heading south as the years go on. LOLGot some too. My elastics look slacker than yours, not sure they were meant to hold a handbook though
J
They seem to be defying gravity too but I cant be bothered to sort the original pic.
That battery is a monster . I had a Numax cxv35mf in mine a few years ago but that packed up eventually.Replaced battery today in my Td6. The existing one (Lion) was apparently only 8 months old, but looking at its spec it just wasn't up to the task.
I managed to swap them without putting the bonnet to access height which I was pleased as I am in the open elements and working on my own
