Been busy Mandy. We went to Wales for a week :D

Did the Bastard Lane and some others. Must get pics and videos uploaded. Its such a pain on here, much easy to put them on Facebook lol :D

And I now have a HUGE problem. I have been offered a pass for Gatesgarth and a weekend laning in the lakes.

Trouble is there is no alternative to camping.

I have wanted to do Gatesgarth for ages, can I spend two nights on a camp bed in the Defender or is there some way I can sleep in a tent? I doubt it at the moment but there are no hotels available.

I've slept in the back of the 90, i made a bed base n used a kids airbed but you have to sleep on a slight angle, or use your camp bed in a tent? :)

Oh n for info dan may want to tag along on some of your excursions, he met a couple of landyzone members at quest, he especially wants to do strata florida :)

He would have been welcome Mandy but I have given up organising trips on here.

Fed up of the hassle

I'm now joining other peoples trips :D Lakes next weekend.

We still do private ones and I will do some in my GLASS role, will let you know if I do.

Andy (200) might be doing some :D:D

Shame that Sue, LZ's where you started and got hooked, but I can understand .. ;)

I understand, mostly 'cos I've done a bit similar. I now don't necessarily publicise a potential trip, I organise it to suit myself or the group of us, mostly knowing there's however many people going already. I now only put out basic details, if people want to join then fine, on _our_ terms, if not that's also fine .. but there won't as often as not, be places for others unless they bring their own leaders! ;)

I don't mind organising, I do enough of it for it to now be pretty easy(ish), and will still do odd things like a Bakewell bash thing (Watch this space, probably for winter time) but most weekend runs are now just between myself and local(ish) mates .. ;)

Lot of reasons Paul. Sick of the ****e I get for organising everyone :D:rolleyes::cool:

A couple of trips which could have been better, mainly due to folk not doing what they agreed to, or group dynamics.

Zip not wanting to lead as many trips and I am good at the organising and planning not leading

I could go on and on, but its nothing against Landyzone, I still love it :D:D

I see, thats a shame, had a great day the time i came, with summer on its way out i'll be looking into doing some more soon i hope
