get yer self a tub bout 8 inch across and a min of 6 in deep , stand yer tin of paint in it, and fill round the outside with boiling hot water out the kettle, in a few mins the paint / enamell will be really hot, as you brush it on to the undercoat / red oxide primer, it will glaze over but not run as it also aids drying, its how the old coach builders did the final finish by hand,
yes a good quality brush helps too,

i recon the genuine miles wer only in the 50k region , its done nothing, the engine wer MOD rebuild early 80's then i did it again just for fun
so yer... 0 miles from rebuild ...... the clocks right
