New E T A;

April 17th

Aparently the boat left Tilbury this morning on its way to Domincan Republic, there everything will be off-loaded into other boats and sent on to their final destination.
I wonder if the battery will be dead? ; )

OK, I just emailed my contact in the UK and asked him to look for a 300tdi.

What was the last year that they built them in the UK?

Anything special that I should tell him to look out for?

I wish I would have found this forum a couple months ago!

Thanks.

Officially it was earlier than 2001 when I bought mine but some continued to be made with them fitted or as an option.

Fantastic.

My 90 sat in a 20' container for almost 8 weeks, when I turned the key there was no hesitation, no smoke, just a lovely sound of a great running engine.

I am soooo happy, the vehicle is way more than I expected.

Nene Overland really did an awesome job.

I will be posting pictures this weekend before and after I install the new wheels and tyres.

Thanks again for all the help.

Its official!!!!

I am the proud owner of my first Land Rover Defender 90 300tdi Pickup.
