Viscous allows for a better turning circle and is just as good as diff lock plus it gives me less to do when doing challenges. Winch switches. Fiddles and everything else will take all the time up without messing about with diff lock

Borg Warner box is nice, only thing for me would be the ratio in low box isn't as low as an lt230. You'll get away with it nicked on a v8 as the revs will happily drop down to 600rpm and climb again whereas on a tdi you wouldn't want it.

Out last night in bro's road disco kaiser locker rear, 200 tdi LSD front and borg warner 1st low was too fast for it being nice

A heavy motor coupled with a slightly higher than normal ratio, 750 16 tyres on a tdi that once dropped below 900 rpm will not pull owt and just die off.

Yeah pegging is a great shout for stock CWP, just that the hugely increased strength of upgrade CWP sets makes up for most of it and gives you a ratio change to boot.

Speak to nige at MS because he does an awesome pegging job, can do complete diffs or just kit form, the hardest part is finding someone with phosphor bronze pegs available! :D

He does p38 centres modified I have one modified to fit. Pegging is a mechanical fix far better than HD alone however I do like the idea that the teeth are running on the correct side of thenteeth, more engagement and it being rotated oncorrect way using a front cwp.

The problem is keeping the crownwheel from moving away from the pinion under extreme load the bearing uprights actually move under load and fle lx minutly. Pegging is worth while!!

I'd probably go the full hog at once, change gearing, H/D internals and pegging at once, would be expencive but well worth it. The HD might or might not happen, try out the new power first and see why I break :D

You'll probably break less especially trialling smooth instant power opposed to the diesel you gotta think well ahead especially for long hill climbs

She's in sports fans ;)

Can't believe the progress you make mate, maybe I'm wrong but you do seem to get a lot covered in a day.

When is it brum time?! :D

That's only between 2 and 6 had work all morning and then went out for a YF doo :p

Can't wait to fire her up just gotta flush the tank and fit an in line pump to get her going :D
