I have a 3.5 v8 sat in the corner with no home to go to... by the way :behindsofa:

Don't tempt me boy ! ;) I've got a 4L and a 3.5 (both not run by myself) sitting in the corner but I've put alot of work into the 300, the rear rad system, rear snorkel all the pipe work it would be so annoying to scrap it all

Yeah but as far as rear mounted components go, the only changes would be the last few feet etc, wouldn't only have to alter the engine end, no?

Would probably get away with an allisport HD/custom tdi sized dad instead of standard 3 row v8

True if the engine is knackered (3rd in a row ) then it will be v8 but I'm gonna try and save this one first

how do manage to kill em all?

I have no idea the first one was thrashed to death and had a very long soaking which probably didn't help. Then I got 2 others to put in and they were both broke when I got them

This one seemed good. Drove it whilst it was in the disco and had plenty of power but now it's running like a sack of spuds and we don't know why :(

probably a fueling issue, what you done to it since its been running good?

Possibly it is taking a whole to start although it could just be low on fuel although that wouldn't account for the low oil pressure I've literally just taken it out of the disco and dropped it in driven it around the yard and up the road and that's it

Well this doesn't look good ...
What came out of the fuel filter

Little metal shards .... Now that's not good for an engine
