Due to the current anti terrorist laws in the UK any citizens caught travelling with known accomplices in vehicular groups of more than six are liable to prosecution under the We think you've got something to hide law of 2003.

As a consequence of this we can only abide by said rules and keep to the two groups of six vehicles.

Probably best to stick your name on the reserves as someone is bound to have forgotten their wedding anniversary and can't make it.

Well you can take my name back off as you have got all you need so will find myself something else to do with other people that care about others that have more than just themselfs to think about. I have a few mates that drive all diffrent sorts of 4x4s so will go out with them but thanks anyways.

The very fact that we have a duty of care is why we limit each group to six and the fact that we try and abide by the laws of the land means we keep the groups to six and also a duty of care with regard to the locals who hardly appreciate a convoy of vehicles passing through a normally quiet community.

Apologies for not being able to meet with your requirements on this occasion and the fact that we have a reserve list because of the above reasons and more than likely someone will possibly pull out.

In the meantime........

sometimes it's the only way ...we had to join another forum just to get some laning days ...there's loads of groups out there , and it is frustrating but necessary to limit the numbers , that way we all get to hopefully keep the lanes in use for a long time to come. Don't take it to heart mate .:)
 
Not took it to heart but you also need to think that there are members on here that have a family that LIKE to come out on the lanes with you all. So i was sorting out with the wife if she would let me and the boy come along without her and the girls. I have been out on a few lanes with different people off here and had a good day.
Also no it is not my time of the month just voicing my views as many will just sit in a corner and say nothing.
Yes i get that you are keeping it to six in a group to stop the walkers from kicking off and complaining.
Also not spitted dummy out just feel as if you have not catered for large family's
so if you feel that i have offended anyone then it's the way you have read it ask sue or paul d i'm not that sort of person.
 
Unfortunately this trip although it has been running since August 29th did fill up quite quickly but some have pulled out in the meantime.

There has been ample time to make it known you intended to join the trip.

Maybe next time add your name in good time and sort out the finer detail later.

Catering for large families has been catered for and every effort will be made to do the same on future trips.

Having stayed in the family rooms at this particular hotel before, i know it contains 2 bunks, a single bed and an good size double.

So yes every effort has been made to accommodate everyone.

But like I said before, get in early or sit on the reserves and maybe someone will forget that the cat is due to have kittens on the day.

Just like everyone else.

Hey! That only happened once! And she has since forgiven me/forgotten about it :mad:
 
So i as a double room because i was the last to book up. I think its great :) I get the bed to myself and dont get the other half drooling in me ear all night :D but alas the gate opener is whinging. :(

Did i read that someone needed the twin room? if anyone needs a twin and has a double we can swap with you.

Let me know. :)
 
Awww, dont be mean to Brian, he is a lovely guy and so are his family.

I was only laughing at the way you worded it FK, not cause Brian cant come.

Brian are you coming on the trip next Saturday :D:D It will be fun we are learning to do winching and stuff.

And if a place doesn't come on on the Wales trip we will have to organise something else :D:D
 
When finances ,timing, or in my case illness, prevent us from doing something we desperately want to do ,it makes us all a bit testy sometimes .....nice of you to wish em luck and really hope you get to go on some of the other great trips they have on here :)
