Exactly! A bit of fun and you are unlikely to break it. LR's do that all by themselves, but saying that all modern cars (with a few exceptions) have much more to go wrong in terms of electronics.
I am committed to my old P38, it has sufficient comfort and refinement for my needs and a minimum of gee-whizzery to go belly-up on me.
very true, even the l322s have plenty of electrics but a good battery keeps them happy and still nowhere near the amount of electrics or sensors a lot of new stuff has.
Go for the RR, with 70,000 on it when you may move it on you shouldn’t lose much anyway and get the RR ownership out of your system… you’ll probably end up selling it then buying another estate or saloon then sell it within month or two and buy another RR, they do get under your skin and have something other cars lack.
