That one was TRO'd for about 2 years quite a few years back due to severe rutting at the Rushmere end. We thought we were going to lose it completely but common sense prevailed for once. Let's hope it doesn't get chewed up again as we won't be so lucky next time. That is actually one of those lanes to avoid during winter and prolonged wet weather, due to the ease with which it cuts up.
It is a very nice little lane though, I really like it and drove it at dusk in September.

It was dry, perhaps when wet is a different story, but a lot less rutted than the ones I have been on in Essex.

I've done the lanes at Sutton Heath twice now. first time just had a quick drive around with the family on board (first laning exp for them). second time in the dark and TBH harder to navigate in the dark. Will be going back, but in the daytime.
Prob with the family on board then I can park up and the kids can have an explore. Would be a great place in a mountain bike!
