No i guess not so no chance i can make out its a short cut.
I am about this Thursday evening, but maybe it's best in daylight?

Yeah best in day light, and you'll need a snorkel, we better check with the herts mob see what it like there as well, as I dont fancy the trek and find it dry, lol.

How a botu a trip out thursday nite.

Not sure yet depends on who is coming. once we know that I guess somewhere mid point?
I wouldn't worry yet about a snorkel, I don't have one and have no intention of drowning mine (yet:rolleyes:). With regard to bumper, not sure when i did my first few lanes it did catch a few times - could try leaning back in ur seat:p

Wait and see where we're going Stu will be able to advise if they are rutted.
if not take it off tomorrow or Thursday. Its only 6(i think) bolts and then use a grinder or dremel to trim the end caps.

Just got a PM from Geoff, his up for Thursday if in essex as stowmarket would be a trek fro him for a weekday night, so suggest we do go over to Essex and have a look at terling, then get a couple that way.

So yeah will org in the essex forum.

I'll look a MM and see whats near to terling.

:D:D:D:D When we go to Terling I'll watch you guys test it first. years since I have been, used to be about 12" deep.

After we can head to Baddow ford, just south of Boreham (10 mins from Terling) this is a shallow ford and fine for standard cars.
I'll also post this in the Essex thread.
 
If the going ain't gonna be like my last night out then I will probably come along, especially if we can do a couple of clean fords at the end.

I'm fed up with cleaning mud off my drive and my road is starting to resemble a country lane. :D
 
I know I am, but as my plan all along is to sell the landy on soon it's a pain to try and keep it saleable. I can't expect anyone to give me good money for a battered truck full of mud can I.

I done some of those a month or so ago, nice lanes, lots of sand. would have liked to but cannot do Saturday, have fun!
 
I'd be up for rendlesham on Saturday for definite. Welding nearly finished on the Transit so I'll be allowed to come and play :D

It's only half an hour from me.

Where is everyone else? Could we maybe meet in the B&Q carpark at Ramsomes or Tesco at Martlesham then go down together?
