Picked this up today! thanks to my mate pete (pocketrocket) for help collecting it
my plan is a full restoration - not going for immaculate or original (purists please dont moan) - i want a tidy land rover that i can use for what it was designed for
We are planning an Alps trip for 2015 the plan is to have it on the road asap but finished before the trip ........... but at the moment it is a 6 cyl petrol thats been stood for 20 years and needs a bit of tlc but on the plus side seems very straight and unmolested
we got it back and 1st noticed the clutch was none existent so ive ordered a new master and slave cylinder, we had a quick go at starting it, got it sparking and turning over but no petrol in. so once were satisfied theres no leaks we'll try fresh petrol and see what happens
