Yeah mate I've got HD arms from Allmakes.

I had a disco damper fitted for a good while with a bracket that i made for the chassis end and some home made enlarged U bolts for the bar end, but then when I went to RTC damper which is defender fitment I simply bought the disco relocationc basis bracket and a defender bar bracket from Glyn Lewis.

Glyns stuff is superb and not dear so you might as well do that!

Yup!

Make sure you get the disco chassis bracket and defender bar bracket if fitting RTC

Loving the rally look of the lights myself also

Excited to get them wired up and put them to use!

And yes for sure it is cheaper to buy a car that is already done, so get on it!

it is cheaper but you dont always know the quality of workmanship thats gone into it....you CAN polish a turd!!

Noisy, how are you making them removable ie, what light connectors cos i quite like the idea of been able to remove for p&p

Aye the superseal connectors are good I use them in various places around the car however for these lights I am simply choosing to use a simple double spade type connector block, no waterproofing I will just grease it up.

This is because it will get mucky etc when disconnected, and I didn't fancy spending the extra buying another half connector to use as a blanking cover.

I may prove myself wrong here and realise eventually that a waterproof connector is required but for now the 69p option was chosen, mainly for its amperage handling tbh.

All connectors available from vehicle wiring products of course.

Funnily enough I just bought a waterproof connector kit from VWP for my shoehorning exercise... Mind you they are only 20 mins up the road from me so if I need anything, I just pop in!

I don't overly enjoy RS, a lot of their stuff is aimed towards mains electrical I think, VWP is everything you need for fiddling on Landys!
