I was talking with Skytag this morning, they've started a new range of car/garage security in the form of fast release fog system as an added deterrent to those pesky thieves. I could see this being very effective when added to a high decibel alarm sound generator.

A smoke cloak. I’ve been to a few B A activations where these have gone off and you can’t see your hand in front of your face. With a decent alarm inside, it’ll work well.

My thoughts too. These smoke canisters with added siren would be hugely disorienting for those thieving pikies/b'stards. Through in a few Bisley mines and a crack over the rear of skull with a badeball bat and they wouldn't be coming back.
