Ive seen a classic RR with a Detroit 6V92 grafted in, 9 ltr supercharged 2 stroke 1000nm,
sounded nice too. so there is always scope to go bigger.

But the butcher has ways of finding these things

there was the non chargers Merlin. Can't remember its name but it was ok eBay for £2700 if I had the cash to blow I would have!

Got the engine. About 3 hours out from home now but it's a monster! Ported heads, high torque cam, full gasket set with new bolts too. All I need is a set of piston rings and it can go together next weekend if I have time

Some preliminary pics are uploading now, its dark out so they're a bit **** but you can see the extensive head porting.

Heads have been rebuilt with new valves and springs, just needs a quick clean up as theres a bit of dust/surface rust

Flash seems to have exaggerated the surface rust, its no where near as bad as it looks. The blower is actually polished but some #### painted it orange then silver so I'll be taking a flap disc on a drill to it

Need to get a set of rings for it and then it can go together

everything else from gaskets to bearings to high strength con rod bolts came with it!
