Using it for now to set things up.
Got all lights working now except for 2 Indicators which I need those parts for,
Still got problem with headlights though.

Thanks will do that.
Bloody Headlights .
Well can you remember when I changed the wiring from the Yellow and White coming from Stalk, and I was Adamant that they were working properley, Well I was Wrong Again, I thought I had them. with full forward High beam, back to middle low beam, then flicking towards you flashing, My son turned up and he said it was the other way to what I was saying so I tried them one night when it was dark and yes I was wrong, So now put wires back to where they were as you said, and Now, same as before.
Now they are Definitely Full forward, High Beam, Middle, Low beam BUT when flicking towards to flash they will only flash with Just side lights on or no lights at all but ignition on,
They Will not Flash with Headlights on .

the two BR for the flash circuit that go to the stalk one goes to the aux fuse box and the other is linked to the UW correct

Yes I am certain I have it that way, but will double check tomorrow.
Just to make sure where I have them now,
Stalk Full forward it is in High Beam ie as if you were blinding someone coming towards you,
Back to middle, Low Beam as in normal night time driving,
Think I must have one wire wrong somewhere .

MAIN forward DIPPED middle FLASH pulled toward you , the the lighting switch is working as it should OFF ,SIDE LIGHTS, SIDE LIGHTS AND HEAD LIGHTS
Being a military adapted vehicle the original lighting circuit would have been a six position switch it may well be tide in with the way the loom is wired I would check the U/W from column switch goes direct to driver head light and trace a wire from there to the driver head light and dis-guard any other cable and make safe

Well these wires are a right mess, couldnt really tell what went where as when I started taking tape off some of the wires have been extended but with different colors where they were joined,
Right hop you can understand this lot.
In Dash U goes to Yellow, on column stalk which is joined to those others.
U/R goes to White on stalk.
The U from yellow goes to this brown connection box in on top in pic and down to passenger side the U/W with it goes from drivers round to passenger headlights.

The U/R goes to black box at bottom in pic and is joined by another and goes from passenger to drivers headlights

So Drivers side has 3 wires 1 thick U/W 1 THIN U/W and thick U/R the thin U/W goes up to Yellow on stalk which is joined to others.

Passenger side has has 3 wires 1 U 1U/W and 1 U/R
Might be easier to rip the bloody whole lot out and make a new harness

check both connectors they should share a double common tube and are not two single separated tubes as the brown looks like it is ,hope you get what I'm saying
in other words the brown connect looks like the U and the U/W are single tubes so the U and U/W are not connected together if so change it to double

Yes know what you mean, think I might have a connector, if I don't have one should I join them together ?

You were right Mate the brown was not connecting the U and UW changed the connector and now they are joined.

On the H4 I have yellow Ground is White Dipped and Black Main ?
Going to look back over the posts again to see what goes where again as I disconnected wires at headlights.

Now that you have fitted a double connector where the brown one was ,one of the U I assume goes to stalk switch the other U going to passenger wing with a U/W .
the other U/W from this connector goes to the driver side where you have a small U/W where does this connect to

Preety sure That thin U/W goes up in to dash and is joined to another of the same coming out from dash then the others that go to one of the B/R s on stalk, will confirm tonight

so all you need to do is join the two U/W at driver side and use the one U/W on the passenger side for your head lights the U on the passengers wing I would disconnect from what was the old brown connector and make both ends safe .
it could be used at a later date to supply front fog lights
