Everybody, when talking about the importance of the sedimenter, asks that question and I don't know why it doesn't.
I do know that it catches a load of rubbish that would otherwise be dragged forward and into the fuel filter.

Fair play, after reading this thread im def gona get mine sorted, and service it on a regular basis!! Im hating the old rust bucket being off the road at the mo!!! Got my new sills turn up today, so will be starting surgery this weekend, then sort the sedimenter out once I got an MOT on her!
