Rear Air Bags, removing right now!

Hi Everyone!
I ve just come in from my driveway to post this, im in the process of replacing rear airbags. I have removed clips top and bottom of rear drivers side, removed pipe. So expecting the top to just fall out (like the bottom) It hasnt and just wont move, tried a prying bar up turret seemsn solid, nothing to lever against the top of spring. Is there anything else stopping it coming out? Colin

Only corrsion, needs more brute force. Is the top alloy or plastic? If plastic you can break it up, if alloy it can be a swine of a job.

Ive been so lucky, both bottom clips broken but bag came out of bracket, top clips just pull out with hook bar (made at work) and molegrips. God knows how awkward the job would have been if these had broke. Colin (thanks again)
