piston will definately not come out of bottom ,you will have to remove gear box ,fly wheel housing ,flywheel brg caps crank etc and cut off with angle grinder,crank brg surface is very easy to damage and debris through cuttin or grinding ,better to save original piston if you can as its alreadt the right size and rings are run into bore ,if you do need new piston needs measuring accurately as size varies and there is supposed to be only around 1 thou clearance rings also need to be removed and gapped in bore if piston is replaced,any damage to bottom of bore as long as not cracked and isnt in the swept area of ringfs can be filed or ground back with dremel or such
