My diesel has plenty of power. So it's you causing global warming pumping out CO2 shame on you. ;):D

I would have to question this fact:oops:, why are we having Adblue now? It’s to clean up a diesel emission because they are not burning the fuel as well as the petrol engine, there are many emissions that are worse than CO2.
Cows produce more. I say eat beef:) to cut down on their emissions, and let us all drive what we want:D
Being the owners of a livery of 5. Only 1 diesel. 4 of the 5 V8.

Oh well guess I am off to the fuel station again :)

Diesel produce Nox which is not nice but not very much CO2. Cows produce methane. Diesels burn the fuel more efficiently than petrol engines, but use to much oxygenated air to do it and therefore produce Nox. That is what EGR is all about. Petrol cars use cats and produce little else other than CO2.

If you look at pollutants per mile travelled, the V8 using twice as much fuel as the diesel is worse than the diesel. With ADDBLUE and an SCR, the NoX emissions are drastically reduced on diesels making them far and away the lowest polluting vehicle power unit there is at the moment and that includes electric.

There is that ;)

Not a fan of the stuff personally..

I'd rather burn petrol at 16mpg and finger the environmentalists ;) :p:cool::D

Suppose things have improved over the years reference LPG but you have no idea how many cars we had at the body shop burned to a crisp with bits of the driver still in them.

Could do with some global warming, it's freezing here today, the cars were covered in a coat of clear ice from freezing rain this morning.:(

I think global warming is a con.

-3 here!!

Freezing me arse off!!

Last winter it was -11 in hereford.

SCR sorry not familiar with this term:oops:
Don’t think I would get on the electric band wagon anytime, that’s a bigger con, unless you are setup properly.
We do have 1 LPG and I have to agree no difference (noticed) in performance.
How many people on here totally ignore their emission and remove their EGR? Would not maintaining as per design be better?
I have no doubt that diesel are sorting out emissions but would have to say it’s a minfield of what one would ,or wouldn’t believe. Depending on your interpretation of what you are told.:)
Still I am a bit of a petrol junkie and love the sound of the V8,but must admit the TDV8 sounds good too:)

As for global warming/cooling then some are let off lightly:)

But this is normal for us :)

I still think hydrogen is the way we will go:rolleyes:.

Did you ever see the Hindenburg? ;):D

Yes,and I know.
We have touched on this subject before.
Just need to get it under control and am sure nobody would complain about it’s emissions:)
At the moment safe storage is expensive.
