What's everyone's thoughts on perimeter alarms? I've had 2 run ins with facelift light thieves and I need some deterrent. I'm a sitting duck because its parked on a main road under a street light, I can't park it up against a wall etc because I'll block other residents in. I've no garage and can't hide it from view. I know it only takes a matter of seconds to rip the lights out but if I can slow them down I might be able to launch something heavy and sharp from the window! Any suggestions on what make or where to get them from would be gratefully appreciated.

fit light guards?
LR only make plastic ones and they just snap off if you apply enough force. Thanks anyway
