Thyristors
There are different SRS ECU's depending on the year. I'll go look at a sensor and see what can be tested.I purchased the proper electrical parts to do the bypass info on this site the crash sensors are old but no damage to front of car I bought the car with this fault on it along with 3 other faults this is the last fault I have to fix.i have replaced the ECU as well the ECU that was in the car had like a brown colour over it.not new though

That looks like it has been wet.
I have changed it nowThat looks like it has been wet.
Sorry, I don't have details of the early crash sensors. Basically they are just an inertia switch. as I said, diagnostics would tell where the fault lies.I have changed it now
Unplug a sensor and see how many connections there are. I think I have a couple of those sensors in my scrapper, where are you located?Only thing I have is a hawkie
Please remove your address, not good to put it on a public forum, PM me with the address after I look to see if I still have the sensors.
The sensors are still in my scrapper, not been able to get them off today due to rain. I will try when I get a dry spell.Don't know how to check the sensors for faults.if U know can U explain how to do that I have a top of the range tester
Nanocom would tell you.Don't know how to check the sensors for faults.if U know can U explain how to do that I have a top of the range tester
Definitely worth checking with Nanocom, it should tell you where the fault lies.I know someone who has got a nanacom. Is it worth a try
