Well chaps, thanks for taking the time to consider the issue and post ideas, the kenlowe is wired to the battery positive and the earth is to the chassis the wee thermometer is in the rad fins with the orange and blue going from the thermo switch to the fan unit, is this wrong? If the kenlowe is switched to come on really early ie its first and second stages it beats the ac fans as to who starts first, any higher on the kenlowe and the ac fans are on first. the ac is not turrned on oh and the ac belt is not on. Could the lack of an ac belt be this cause? The ac fans are a emeregency fan on these cars im informed but the hoses dont feel ridiculasly hot and the fans are coming on. im checking the engine with a digital thermometer tomorrow so i can know what exact temo she is running at as the guage seems happy. Any p38 experts care to share an opinion ill be very grateful. Thanks
