Cut the wires on the new sensor and while stripping it bare for connection, the end came out where it connects to the plug connector pin at the top of the pump. I was told not to attempt to remove them as they are soecially keyed to not be removeable - however, all of them released easy, so i just reoved the old sensor and connected it to the new pump. No need to cut or solder at all.....job is done ! Thankyou so much again Nodge ! If i stumbled upon a pub and new the guy accross the room was you, i'd get you a single malt dram and a pint of black to go with it ! Respect. Thanks again, high regards, arnodafe72 thanks to you all.It was about a decade ago now, and the old grey matter isn't as good as it was. I have a feeling I soldered the old unit into the new puml. I don't remember it being a difficult job, as I'd have remembered better if it was.
