Good morning all. I have just inherited another free lander but this is the td4 convertible style (ironic given the weather at the moment). Any way my question is why have I got no power at the obd point. I have taken a pic of the wires coming in and wonder if someone knows what does what. Only want to know as I have a few minor issues that might come up on the icar reader hopefully. Any help greatly received

I think you need to look up the electrical diagram to confirm the number of wires on the back of the connector. The ECU uses a 1 wire K-line communications so there really aren't that many wires.

It start by looking up the obd2 connector online, it will tell you which pins are supposed to be +12V/GND then get a meter on it. Could be something as simple as a blown fuse.

From a another thread in the last few days, power comes from the F14 fuse on a purple wire.

However, if F14 is caput, there will be other things not working that you would have noticed.
