I have clean just the hp one (and i ended up without the rubber protection for that one). I will clean tomorrow both of them again and see. That's really annoying.
Did you clean the connections on the hp fuel rail pressure sensor and the lp one?
I will do tomorrow that test again and see. Today i am too tired...Worth repeating the lp sensor voltage tests to see if it is telling the truth now the pressure is correct.
Hi. I've done measurements again:Worth repeating the lp sensor voltage tests to see if it is telling the truth now the pressure is correct.
so .. once the engine has warmed up , then you get the dash warning [?]have good power and all ok but just for 5 miles.
Hi,so .. once the engine has warmed up , then you get the dash warning [?]
question :
on start up .. does it take much more cranking with a warm/hot engine,
than it does with a stone cold engine ?
if so ..... that could point to a worn hp.pump.
.
Hi. The hp sensor it's the one on the injector fuel ramp?So you have the correct pressure now. Looks like the sensor is responding OK and shows higher pressure.
Only other thing I can think of is a bad wire to the hp sensor. There is a replacement loom but you can check the resistance from sensor back to the engine ecu.
Nothing else left !!
What do you mean with "check resistance from sensor back to the engine ecu"? I don't understand this terms and please tell me how can i do this.So you have the correct pressure now. Looks like the sensor is responding OK and shows higher pressure.
