Right come on you lot, show more enthusiasm. I have already suggested two places on here and PMd Blue Beasty with two more. If you all did the same we would soon have a venue.
And just to get more interest in this thread. I promise to make cake for the event, say what kind and I will start researching how to cook them now
ALRIGHT! Stop hassling.......I'll take on all the cake distribution responsibilities
Just spoken to Dave from Hull4x4, a nice chap, and the low down on Frickley is leave numerous emails and voice mail messages and then live in hope.
So it looks like it's not that they hate us but just that they're a bit rubbish at getting in touch.
Phase 2 of operation contact Frickey is a go
BB, if you want to pass me the details I will bombard them too.
Out of the 3 that I contacted so far there has been no reply whatsoever, a little disappointing really.
I'm not sure how to do it but it would be good to get an idea of how many people might attend, that way we can get an idea of size/cost etc. Anyone with any brain waves on the best way of doing it?
I'll e-mail the site in meridan again and hassle them
Any chance of anybody local dropping in? It's a lot more difficult to ignore somebody face to face.
